- Advice on Control Measures
Exposure to workplace noise may require periodic monitoring of hearing acuity as part of assessment of control measure effectiveness.
Noisy Workplaces
Too much noise exposure can lead to a temporary or permanent hearing loss and this may similarly associated with Tinnitus. Long term loud noise exposure is the most common preventable cause. Recreational Noise Exposure is a potentially significant source of loud noise exposure esp pubs/clubs, headphones ear buds etc.
