Quick Tips
- Dont fly if:
- You have a cold or are feeling unwell
- Have had recent major surgery or eye/ENT/dental
- If you have a significant heart or lung condition
- Have a history of recent onset funny turns or loss of consciousness
- Before your flight:
- Stay hydrated
- Avoid gassy foods/drinks
- Move occasionally on longer flights & wiggle your feet
- Limit alcohol intake
Whether you get paid to fly as cabin crew or just need to get somewhere, for business or leisure, flying can impose some additional health stresses not present on the ground and so there are a few things you need to know.

- Low Cabin Humidity

- Fitness to Fly/Operate
It is important, as operating crew, to sign on feeling well. If there is any doubt it’s best to notify crewing and seek medical assessment as appropriate.
